Attending Coláiste Íde for 5th year Transition Year Programme offers students an excellent opportunity to improve their acquisition and knowledge of Irish.
Who should apply?
5th Year Transition Year Programme at Coláiste Ide, Dingle, Co. Kerry is ideally suited to students who have completed the Junior Certificate. It is important to have a good grasp of the Irish language and have a genuine interest in Irish. The course will benefit students aiming to improve their knowledge of Irish before embarking on the Leaving Certificate. Students wishing to pursue a career in education, law, journalism, media and translation services should particularly benefit.

Please note; *Driving course: The student must be 17 years of age to get a learners permit.
Throughout the year students will attend all academic classes in preparation for their Leaving Certificate Examinations.
