The catering staff ensures that all students have a balanced and varied diet. Great emphasis is placed on healthy eating and the food is prepared freshly and sourced locally whenever possible. All special dietary requirements are catered but must be notified in advance in writing. Eating patterns are regularly monitored at each meal by the boarding staff who ensure that all students are eating properly and healthily. Eating patterns of students are regularly monitored, contact is made with parents if there is a concern around eating patterns or dietary habits.
Packed lunches fresh fruit and bottled water is provided to students who are taking part in outings such as after school activities and sports events.
The dining hall remains open throughout the day until 21.45 at night and students are welcome to go in at any time to have a snack.
